Bayberry Residence

Consisting of approximately 1,500sqft this condominium unit located at Tropicana Gardens was initially furnished minimally for the purpose of renting out. The walls could not be hacked, hence renovation had to be kept to tasteful considerations to existing spaces, which we focused mostly on the Living, Kitchen, and Master Bed.

We drew the big gestures with minimalistic wood finishes, morphing from TV console table, a floating Japanese tea table to wall wainscoting panels for a ‘zen’ look overall. Then zoomed into details that would bring more character to the space. The overarching concept of the interior design was to marry warm, clean, serene elements of Japanese and Scandinavian interiors with artful Parisian styles.

Final styling touches stay true to the concept and reflect the owner’s taste in travel -- contemporary artworks with colorful brush strokes, Mediterranean pots filled with palm plants, a double-arch shaped mirror for the dresser, and custom tatami seats for the tea table.

Moving into the Master Bed, we enjoyed introducing touches that reminisce a Parisian abode. A cream painted wainscoting and beige bedhead upholstery set the tone for this space, with hints of blush and gold fixtures to create a chic interior.

A large wooden curtain pelmet with black striped roman blinds changes the spatial experience of the living area, compressing one’s view to the beautiful golf course ahead, and creating a more cosy scale to the living experience.
