With an appreciation for distinctive cultural elements, our client approached us with an interesting brief: To marry the ornamental details of Malaysian Nyonya with that of English. We tackle this by strategically placing ornamental tiles and cabinet wainscoting so that their unique presence can be amplified amongst warm, neutral, wood undertones

Working with Architect Foo Hui Ping, this project involved careful planning on both exterior and interior. Renovation work extending the front and side boundaries of this corner Semi-D can be seen in the brick facade, showing different volumes in the architecture.
