Hometown Coffee, Taman Sea

Latching on to a corner shoplot, we design local coffeehouse Hometown Hainan Coffee as a warm dining area with moments of nostalgic nuances. The quissential ‘kopitiam’ tile becomes a departure point for the geometric railings that line the perimeter of the shoplot, beckoning customers to come in. A Glasshouse extension at the rear allows for a different dining experience when customers enter, playing with variation of light and mood throughout the space.
